Here at Thainstone Events we specialise in delivering a diverse range of events. Our adaptable event facilities and professional team allow us to work with you to create a tailored event. 

We are home to a variety of flexible event spaces and have previously hosted events such as charity balls, dinners, exhibitions, award ceremonies and several large-scale public events.

We operate from Thainstone Centre, Inverurie, AB51 5XZ, Scotland.

A versatile venue in the heart of the North East of Scotland. Located just off the A96 south of Inverurie, Thainstone Centre is located just 15 minutes away from Aberdeen Airport and 14 miles away from Aberdeen City Centre, with rail links to Inverurie and Kintore. 

With a professional team and adaptable facilities, we ensure memorable events tailored to your needs.

All of our catering is now provided by our partner Harry Fraser Catering.

Established in 1994, Harry Fraser Catering uses the best of local produce to deliver quality food and outstanding service for all of our events.

The Thainstone Exchange can hold up to 1,100 standing or accommodate a dinner dance for 450 guests, the Bothy Function Suite sits up to 100 and the Glen Garioch Conference room can host up to 60 delegates.

We are taking a short break with the first scheduled event for 2026 planned for Sunday 1st February 2026. Operating on a fortnightly basis until the end of March. From March - October we will return to weekly events.
