Here at Thainstone Events we specialise in delivering a diverse range of events. Our adaptable event facilities and professional team allow us to work with you to create a tailored event. 

We are home to a variety of flexible event spaces and have previously hosted events such as charity balls, dinners, exhibitions, award ceremonies and several large-scale public events.

All of our catering is now provided by our partner Harry Fraser Catering.

Established in 1994, Harry Fraser Catering uses the best of local produce to deliver quality food and outstanding service for all of our events.

The Thainstone Exchange can hold up to 400 guests, the Bothy Function Suite sits up to 100 and the Glen Garioch Conference room can host up to 60 delegates.

Unfortunately, the Porterhouse is no longer in operation. However, the space has been utilised as the new Bothy Function Suite. Ideal for private functions, parties and business breakfasts.  

The Thainstone Sunday Market and Car boot sale operates weekly events between April – October. Turning to fortnightly events from the 27th of October to the 8th of December.

Yes, we recommended reserving your place prior to the car boot sale through Eventbrite here. Alternatively, you can pay on the day at the gate by card, no cash will be accepted. 

The Sunday Market and Car Boot Sale is an outdoor only event, taking place on the hardstanding outdoor area surrounding Thainstone Centre, Inverurie.

For stall holders, set up is between 7am-9am with access to the public open from 9am-3pm. 

Please note: we do not have control over when stall holders leave thus, we recommend arriving early to the car boot sale to avoid disappointment. 

Tickets are for the space only, we do not provide any equipment. A pitch with power does not include a cable. 

Yes, dogs are welcome at the event however they must remain on leash.

Our car boot sales will operate on a fortnightly basis from the 27th October, with the next event being held on the 10th November. Our last event of 2024 will be held on the 8th of December. Where weather conditions result in cancelled events, stall holders will be contacted through Eventbrite.  

Please note: our Sunday Market and Car Boot Sale will be temporarily closed from January through March 2025, we plan to return in April.
