As Aberdeenshire’s premier events business, we take pride in our ability to plan and produce a host of different events, from conferences and expos, to festivals, charity balls, weddings and more. We can work with you from start to finish to deliver an outstanding events, tailored specifically to your needs and within your budget. Whether it’s hosted here at Thainstone or afar, we can help you deliver a fantastic experience for you and your guests.

Catering

We honour our strong farming heritage with our award-winning catering provision, offering an authentic field-to-fork experience prepared by our talented team of chefs. With the best locally-sourced ingredients right at our doorstep, each dish on our menus is made only using the freshest ingredients from the North East of Scotland. We provide both on-site and external catering services, and clients can select from a wide variety of menus to suit your occasion. Any special requests or dietary requirements can always be accommodated.

Thainstone Centre

Located in the heart of the North East, Thainstone Centre is one of Aberdeen City and Shire’s largest multi-purpose event venues, with ample parking facilities, disabled access, free Wi-Fi and on-site catering and bar facilities. Situated directly off the A96, Thainstone Centre provides convenient access to Aberdeen City and Aberdeen International Airport, and can also be reached via rail links to Inverurie.

Thainstone Exchange

An adaptable venue that can comfortably accommodate up to 450 guests with a fully operational events kitchen and bar. This space can also be divided into smaller sizes, and breakout rooms are available. The Thainstone Exchange has hosted many of the North East’s best known events, such as Taste of Grampian, Inverurie Beer Festival, Thainstone Country Music Festival, and more, in addition to the many private dinners and functions it sees each month.

Meeting and conference suites

Glen Garioch:

Located on the second floor, Glen Garioch is our largest room within our business suite providing the state-of-the-art smart board technology to deliver your meeting in style to up to 70 delegates.

Aberlour:

Located on the second floor next to Glen Garioch, our Aberlour room accommodates up to 20 delegates comfortably.
