Thainstone Events are looking to recruit a full time Kitchen Steward to join their team at Thainstone.
Thainstone Events is a multi-skilled catering and event management company based at Thainstone Centre, Inverurie and part of ANM Group – one of Scotland’s largest and most progressive farming, food and finance businesses in the UK.
The Kitchen Steward is a great opportunity for someone looking to start a catering career and no previous experience is required as training will be given.
The role will include general cleaning, deep cleaning, clearing tables and washing pots. We are looking for a versatile person who works well in a team and understands the importance of delivering excellent service. Prior experience is not essential as training will be given.
This is a weekly paid role working 5 days out of 7 with a competitive hourly rate available. You will be provided with a uniform and meals on duty.
Skills and experience:
- Good communication and people skills
- Knowledge of Health & Safety and Food Safety
- Ability to work own initiative as well as part of a team
- Excellent attention to detail and organisation skills
